Exclusive Territory


This is an exclusive Sales Agency (only one Sales Agent to be appointed per country) covering the territory of a designated country. Currently, all countries are available except Australia and New Zealand. The Sales Agency is non-transferable.


Business Plan Requirements


The prospective Sales Agent is required to prepare a detailed business plan, outlining the resources, activities, strategies and expected outcomes of the business, both short-term and long-term. The depth, quality and innovation of the business plan shall be the main criteria in determining the appointment of Sales Agents.

Given that CEO Online is an internet-based subscription business, it is expected that the majority of the marketing initiatives undertaken by the Sales Agent will have an internet bias. For example, the business plan should include reference to GoogleAds, web site advertising, incoming link strategies, SEO and SEM, landing pages, promotion on appropriate social networking websites, viral marketing, blogs, strategic alliances with business and educational organizations, traffic exchanges, affiliate programs etc.

The business plan must detail the type and extent of resources available to support each initiative, and the expected outcomes.

It is expected that the Sales Agent will engage an internet savvy work-force to promote CEO Online throughout the designated country. For example, University students undertaking computer studies may provide the basis of such a work-force.


Products


The four subscriptions available for sale are as follows:

  1. Global Gold: A$2.75 per month*
  2. PREMIUM: A$16.50 per month
  3. IIDM Member: A$19.80 per month
  4. IIDM Fellow: A$22.00 per month

*This subscription is exclusively available for sale outside Australia & New Zealand. Global Gold subscription has the equivalent value to the Standard subscription of A$9.90 per month (which is only available to Australian & NZ subscribers).

The Global Gold subscription has been specifically priced for developing countries, providing affordable access to the world-class educational business resources of CEO Online. The price point set for the Global Gold subscription, is expected to reap the rewards of high volume subscriptions in all designated countries, and is the key success factor, underpinning the attractiveness of this Sales Agency.


Revenue Stream


The Sales Agent receives a recurring commission of 50% on the monthly subscription fee received from 2. (Premium), 3. (Member), and 4. (Fellow) as denoted in the Products section.

The recurring commission on subscription 1. (Global Gold) is A$1.00 on the monthly subscription fee received.

Commission is payable on a recipient-produced invoice, each month, with commission being paid direct to the Sales Agent’s bank account within 14 days of month-end. Commission applies to all subscription income generated from subscribers with the designated country.

The business game “Who wants to be a CEO?” is a very popular feature of the website. Web site traffic and players are attracted to the quarterly business champion competition - and the associated cash prize.

CEO Online recommends Sales Agents promote the business game to drive prospective subscribers to the website.


Sales Agent's Reponsibilities


The Sales Agent is responsible for all expenses incurred in running the sales and marketing activities of the business, within their designated country.

The Sales Agent is solely responsible for all marketing and prospecting activities necessary to procure subscribers from within their designated country.

The Sales Agent is responsible to undertake all necessary sales and marketing activities to achieve an agreed number of new retail subscribers each month via the CEO Online website.

The Sales Agent must conduct the business on a full-time basis.


CEO Online's Reponsibilities


CEO Online is responsible for all expenses incurred in the hosting, maintenance and ongoing development of the website.

CEO Online, in its capacity as Publisher, has sole editorial and management responsibilities for the website.

CEO Online will provide the Sales Agent with the know-how to subscribe complimentary subscribers who are “centres of influence”, to help facilitate subscription sales.


Performance Requirements


A minimum sales performance requirement will be agreed between the Sales Agent and CEO Online in respect of revenue receipts on a monthly basis.


Term


The term of the Sales Agency is for three (3) years, and thereafter either party may terminate the agreement by giving the other party three (3) months notice. CEO Online may terminate the agency at any time if performance undertakings are not achieved.


Other Terms & Conditions


There is no requirement for the successful Sales Agent to pay any upfront fee to CEO Online for the grant of the Sales Agency, making this an attractive low cost/entry business opportunity, with an exclusive territory (country-based) and residual income.

The Sales Agent has no responsibility to provide content for the website, however the Sales Agent isn’t prohibited from submitting content or suggesting potential content providers. CEO Online has the sole discretion, to decide whether any such content is published on the website.

The Sales Agent will be required to sign a Sales Agency Agreement, before the agency arrangements take effect.

An organisation can arrange the purchase of multiple subscriptions in the local currency of the designated country with the Sales Agent. This is an offline activity which shall be performed by the Sales Agent. A single subscription must be processed via CEO Online's internet-based registration and payment gateway.
